A lot of my friends and people that I spoke of claim that Honda has better engines than Toyota because of the VTEC!! is this true?

Lots of car companies have variable timing besides these two. Why Honda owners think it's specific to their cars and VTEC is such an oft-used buzzword among the import crowd is beyond me...

BTW I've got two Hondas :)

VTEC = "Variable valve Timing and Electronic lift Control" - both SOHC and DOHC motors can have it.

Good thing you edited the proper symbol in there. I was going to rag on your Weak Rice Skills for suggesting that a 2" wing would provide any Downforce (TM), which as we all know is the Root of All POWAR.

actually i think it all depends on the height of your car from ground to roof...wing must be at least half that or it does no good...

Depending on how far you've cut your springs, it can be taller than your car itself. :Q

i-vtec > vvtl-i

in the '90s honda took a chance vtec and virtually set the stage for variable valve timing concept. name one automaker who doesn't have some form of valve timing on their engines.
