I have recently upgraded my son's PC with an ABIT BD7-II motherboard, P4 2.0A CPU, 512Mb PC2100 RAM and a 450W CFT PFC PSU. Everything went according to plan and he has been using it for about a week now.
Last night, I installed the Winbond Hardware Doctor SW and when run, it immediately sounded an alarm indicating that the VTT voltage was out of range. The spec voltage is 1.5V but the actual reading is over 3 Volts! The PC Health screen in the BIOS also gives the same voltage reading, but no way to change it.
What does this VTT voltage supply? And what harm is it doing by being as high as it is?
Regards, Ian.
