One of the main reason I skipped Vista was because it disabled Vsync in older games that didn't have the option built into the in game settings. Like BF2 and BF2142. I have no idea why they disabled this. Then I try Windows 7 and it too does the same dam thing. Is their anyway to enable force vsync like in XP?

wut

You can use the ATI CCC to force vsync for all games. Works on both 32bit and 64bit versions of Vista. The option doesn't currently seem to be enabled in Win7, but the CCC is still in early beta.

Because I notice blur and screen tear without it. And this is on a 2 ms zero input lag monitor. I don't understand how a operating system that is about 10 years old can do things that are so simple and a brand new operating system with the latest technology can't

Wow. RTFT

Are you blind? I already told you how to enable vsync. It doesn't matter if you're using Windows 98 or Windows Vista, just use the control panel for your video card.

V-sync is working for me ever since build 7057 w/ ATI's 9.3 Catalyst drivers. Working perfectly in build 7100.

Yes working perfecting for games that have the vsync in game option. Try games that don't have vsync as an option in game like BF2 or BF2142 as I stated above.........Then see if its working...
