Vsync control in W7 with an X1600

I'm running windows 7 on my laptop with a Mobility X1600, and i have an application that i need to disable Vsync for (it seems to be on by defualt). I tried the Windows 7 drivers from ATi, they don't seem to support the X1600. Any suggestions? There doesn't seem to be any support for this in the default windows update drivers and there is no option in the program. Thanks!
