As measured by hwinfo while gaming. The "thermal diode" temperature, which is the same value that furmark measures, is inside the standards mentioned by the various hardware websites, max 86'c in furmark, although i think it did reach 92'C while gaming.

Furmark itself crashed the 1st time i run it, but the consequent 4 times it finished the test without problems.

I am presently having pretty much trouble with frequent BSODs with various messages: "memory management", "bad pool header", "irql not less or equal", various ".sys files "something something"(since i updated Windows 7 earlier today i got only the memory management message but ofc its too soon to say anything)...

...and im having a hard time figuring out the cause as there is another issue that might be causing that instability, ram(Kingston HyperX 2x8GB 3000mhz CL15) cannot be set to any of the 2 XMP profiles and it defaults at 2133. I did test it with memtest with 0 errors, also tried turning on the XMP with each ram stick individually - one failed immediately with the "overclocking failed" message that appears when i test it with both sticks on, while the other did work the 1st time i tried, but it crashed sometime later and when i rebooted i got that message again. Later it worked again but the next crash appeared much sooner than usually.

There is one more issue... the 24 pin atx connector cannot fit all the way into the socket, not enough for the "hook" to be able to attach. This didn't seem to cause any trouble at first but one time, a couple weeks after assembly, the pc simply shut down during gameplay and it wouldn't turn on until i fastened it tighter.

What freaks me out is that everything worked perfectly fine for the first 1-2 months with the 1st BSOD appearing when i started playing Hardline multiplayer. I then tried to update bios, which i havent done before and that seemed to have intensified the instability. At first only during that game, later anywhere between browsing web, windows and any other game(offline too)...

I know this is much more than the headline promised and im grateful to any kind soul that went through the trouble of reading it with the intent to help.

I will add that i tried contacting the official support teams of all the products mentioned but found them lacking in helpfulness.

I tried raising the voltage a bit with the defaulted ram mode at 2133mh but BSODs still keep coming up, while with the XMP profile the voltage is automatically raised and that to the highest recommended value(by different hardware websites).

I recently updated the GPU drivers and that caused increased system instability which lasted until i throttled the voltage back to the default value.

Im curious though, shouldn't those BSOD messages mean something to someone that can decipher them? I did send them to the Asus support team but they simply directed me to do further tests, and even after i sent them the results i got no practical advice or hint except to contact the retailer.

This is a problem. You need to look at the pins inside the connector/header and find out which one(s) are messed up and fix them. Did you try a different power supply to see if it fit better?
