VQ35 Gas Mileage?

First post in a while... hope you're all doing well.

Anyone using gasaroo.com? I am.

I'm averaging 21.4 miles per gallon in my 2002 Infiniti I35 Sport (255 hp) with 116k miles. I've got Mobil1 synthetic tranny fluid and oil. My tires are always at 32 psi. I'll rev over 3k on occasion, but I keep it lightfooted for the most part.

I've seen as low as 16 mpg and as high as 24 depending on city/highway ratio.

I average about 29 MPG with a heavy right foot in my 240 HP Accord. Have seen 32 MPG in all highway driving.

VQ > *

😉

02 Max. 100% freeway i average 31mpg. On mixed city/highway it levels at 25mpg. All city with traffic lights every block, about 19mpg. All these computed the traditional way, the trip comp is off by about 2.5mpg.

Did someone from Nissan molest you, a Versa cut you off, or the Rouge make you physically ill (it does me)?

It seems like you post in every thread concerning Nissan without providing anything useful and just disparage Nissan.

& what about my post is inaccurate.

This is only the 2nd post regarding Nissan I've made.

Nissan put a 4crap auto in the Maxima which makes the I35 a crap buy.

6-speed Maxima is the only good buy for 02-03 model.

I have the same exact car also, 02, Silver with Sport package and NAv, 70k miles, getting roughly 21 MPG with a mix of 80% highway, 20% city driving.

In my '05 G35c I get 15-16mpg. Keep in mind this is 100% spirited city driving. If I go on a trip it hops up to 24ish.

I had a sweet 03 max that was a joy to drive and never had a problem with it, short of a hit and run when my car was parked.
