Why is the vpns not working? Any alternative? No troll just victim of a strict multi account policy. If all else fails might be spending more time on this forum.

If I unplug my router overnight will it change my IP. I use Verizon fios

Possibly not. I've seen my IP stay constant from Verizon even when I have had the power out for >24hrs (to the ONT). It is the IP from your ONT that is going to matter, not the IP that your ONT assigns to your router. I haven't done much note comparing, so I don't know if my ONT's IP varies, but I feel like it has been a static IP (or it could be that I need to actually write it down so I know what it is over a period of time greater than about 2-3 days).

What do you suggest?

I used to simply change my router's WAN MAC ID and reboot the modem and router to get a new IP address. To do this usually requires third party firmware such as DD-WRT or Tomato.

If you can't change the MAC in the router settings, plug a PC directly into the modem and reboot the modem. You should get a new IP then, and when you reattach the router it should change again.

So let me sum up this thread... "I broke the rules and got banned. So I sidestepped the rules and tried to bypass the ban and got banned again. Can someone help me break the rules and avoid another ban? Please?"

Pass. Chalk it up to a hard lesson and move on.
