Has anyone ever been able to get VPN working thru this Linksys router? While i've seen tons of posts about it on the net, none of them seemed to have resolutions and only suggestions.
I've enabled all the goodies, like PPTP pass thru (and even IPSEC passthru even though im not using it). I've also forwarded ports 1723 (general forwarding and trigger port forwarding), 500, 50, 47 and still gets stuck at "Verifying Username and Password".
This sucks. All I need is a VPN server to allow clients access to my network for email usage (spam relay prevention).
Note about Protocol ID 47:
I'm aware that GRE Protocol ID 47 isnt necessarily "port 47" on my router, however this is what Linksys says it is. On their website, in one support article, their tech says we have to forward port 47. In another, it says enabling PPTP passthru will take care of it.
