Hello all.
I've got three networks I'm trying to tie together with 3 netgear prosafe vpn appliances. The main network consists of about 25 or so computers and a server. The other networks are about 3 computers apiece, so fairly small operations. When I go to the remote locations, I can see the server, and most of the network, but it's a true pain in the rear to join the domain... most of the time the connection seems to time out, and it generates an error message that seems to depend upon where it is in the connection process. When I finally did/do get them attached, I can map a network drive relatively easy, but I can't get it to display the contents of that mapped drive to save my life...
Now, this may be an obvious question to those of you with experience in this field, but is this the result of not enough bandwidth? We only have about 25KB/s (big B, not little b) upload speed off the main server right now, but a consultant said that that would be sufficient and that it would "just be slow". I'm feeling exxxxxtreeeemely skeptical at the moment.
Please help! thank you!
