So, I was playing around with my VPN.ac service and before setting up a connection I went in and changed the DNS from DHCP specified to manually configured on both the NIC and the TAP adapters. Yes, when I perform a DNS leak test with VPN enabled it is using the VPN provider's DNS.
While I have no desire to use my ISP's DNS, I tried this using Google's DNS (configured both IPv4/6 DNS. Is this the nature of not being able to externalize DNS specification, or is it something needing to be done VPN server side?
