Without much success, I tried searching google for a guide to setup a VPN on my Mandrake box that I can remotely access from Win2k, XP Pro, and Redhat.

Could anyone please point me to such a guide?

Is there a utility that I need, or is it built into Mandrake?

Thanks!

What's your purpose for connecting? I routinely connect to my home lan from work using SSH to establish a connection to a linux box, and then port forward ("tunnel") connections to other computers, such as running the terminal services client on my win2k servers. You don't need a VPN just to remotely access other computers.
