I just started using a VPN service (PIA) and am based in the US.

Netflix blocks the use of proxies/VPNs as do other streaming services.

I am trying to understand how I can employ "split tunnelling" or the like so that the netflix traffic goes outside of the VPN tunnel and everything else goes across the VPN.

Does anyone know how to do this? Google has been surprisingly sparse.

This is the closest I found but I could not get it to work (replacing vpn_gateway with net_gateway).
