Question VPN into my home network ATT Hotspot router

I used to have ATT DSL out in the sticks. It was almost back to the dial up internet ages. I finally got the option a while back to add an Unlimited Hotspot router to my cell service for $20 per month. I was already paying $60 for the slow DSL. The speed is so much better than what I had.

I used to be able to remote into my home network through the DSL connection. When I switched I lost that ability. I can get my public IP address. I can set port forwarding, but I can not reach my home network. I talked to ATT and they say it is not possible unless I buy a business account. I just want the home access for my home automation. Does anyone know if there is a work around to be able to get into my home network other than using teamviewer to remote control a computer on my network?

Thanks!

I had this problem with AT&T not working with a Ipsec VPN router. I had to buy a block of static IP addresses. Basically, anything above and beyond basic consumer access, you will need to pay for 'extras'.
