VPN help.....cannot access Internet without VPN

I have a work laptop and I used to be able to connect to any wireless networks and access the internet, however for the last few weeks I am not able to.

I have to connect to wireless network, then connect to VPN, and then I can access the internet.

Any ideas????

Are these wireless networks secured? Do you have DHCP configured properly?

Do you have a proxy set? If so remove it. Some companies set a proxy that you wouldnt be able to access unless you were connected to VPN. Thus being able to watch all internet activity with their equipment
