VPN connection from XP to Linksys BEFXS41?

The connection is established, but the Windows networking performance is lousy. Regular TCP/IP (ie. through a web browser, etc.) is good. Anybody run in this configuration that might be able to share some config tips?

I have followed the Linksys docs to a "T" and everything works, but Windows networking.

What level of encryption are you using? You might need to scale down security for speed.

The problem is not with the speed of the connection, but something to do with Windows networking (ie. a network misconfiguration on the client). When browsing an intranet web server that serves PDF files, it works really well. When browsing shares on the server, the performance is dismal. File copy operations and such are painfully slow IF they work at all.
