Got my vp930b. And I was wondering what is a good setting for color? I see theirs SRGB, 9300, 7500, 5300. 5000 I'm confused really. Also what is a good brighteness Contrast setting?

Thanks

I'll get mine tomorrow but sRGB is supposed to be the best as far as calibration goes. I think it locks the brightness/contrast settings when you use sRGB.

Yes it does :) I just figured that out :) It seems to me Srgb is the same as 9300 or close to it. Its just with srgb you can't change the contrast and brighteness....No dead pixels on mine either....now its time to test BF2 :)

The VP930b sRGB (goal@6500K) was measured at 6300K by Tom's Hardware Guide if I recall. That's very close to the 6500K photo-editing standard.

sRGB is supposed to be calibrated by ViewSonic as to be the best color reproduction settings and to conform to sRGB standards.

Also I see in the specs that the vp930b can do 85hz, yet when I goto the control panel it maxes out at 75hz. Am I missing soomething? I would like to play BF2 at 1280x1024@85hz..
