VP930b-3 problems

I just got this monitor from Newegg on Monday. Anyway, I'm having two sets of problems.

1. Occasionally the monitor will randomly turn off and the message "No DVI Signal" pops up, and the only way to restore it is to restart the computer. The DVI connection is completely secure and I never had this problem with my previous monitor. Also, M2TW (only game I'm playing atm) was freezing much more frequently with the new monitor.

2. This one may or may not be related. I updated my video card drivers and now when I try to open M2TW, it opens the game minimized in the taskbar and the game cannot be maximized. Clicking it brings up a blank screen and then just kicks me back to the desktop and there is no right click menu.

Any suggestions?

Edit: Otherwise, it's a very nice monitor without a single stuck/dead pixel!

Update: Problem 2 is solved. Apparently, when I installed the new drivers, the OS reset to 16 bit color with "write combining" disabled. Changing those to 32 bit color and enabled, respectively, fixed the problem. The game's still freezing a lot though.
