I've got an Abit VP6 w/2 700MHz P3's and they just can't hit 933 for some reason, even though I can hit 933 with each of them individually. Win2K will start booting and during the graphical progress bar it just loses video signal and locks.
But my real problem is whenever I turn on the "CPU FSB Plus" feature in the BIOS to anything other than 0, the machine doesn't post. I get no video feed, no response from power button (I have to hold down the power button for 5 seconds or unplug it). Then I have to clear the CMOS with the jumper, I can't even use the Insert key.
Has anyone experienced this problem with this or other Abit boards with this feature? I can't even set my FSB to 100 and set CPU FSB Plus to 1 without it doing this, so it's obviously not an issue of chip ability but a problem with the motherboard.
