Voting issues shouldn't be forgotten just because the DEMs won

I know a lot of Democrats think that just because the DEMs won, we are golden, no one is doing anything behind the scenes to sway the votes. I think that's naive and short sited. It's of dire importance that we not forget the problems many had at the polls with names flipping, long lines, and unreliable machines just because the vote may or may not have gone your way. These systems are buggy, hackable, and offer no trail of votes to go back to in the event of problems, intentional or not. These machines leave the door open for either side to participate in corrupt voting activity, and in my mind, that's more than enough reason to contact your local congress members and let them know that you want a full investigation into vote issues that could be cause for concern or conspiracy. This benefits both sides of the aisle, and if we let the next 2 years slide by without doing something about it, we deserve anything that comes in 2008.

Absolutely Krakn.

It's amazing and sad to see in America that in 2006 we as a Country have actually gone backwards as far as ability to vote and have it done correctly.

I don't know if there were other places in the Country where it was as bad as Denver where the lines were six hours long.

I would personally expect to see the Democrats in power to hold congressional level hearings. Also, keep an eye on blackboxvoting.org, they are investigating anomalies in some of the races.
