I've never felt compelled to before this. I'm a convicted felon btw. Live in Texas. I'll be placing my vote for Beto. Don't really know anything about him or Ted Cruz other than their stance on climate change. Cruz complete disregard of climate change and the flat out deceit on the topic makes me disgusted. Is this a lost cause in Texas? Democratic senator in Texas. Wife wasn't planning on voting but I am getting her to vote for Beto as well.

Try and make a habit of it.
Every election from some local position to presidential election.

Good for you! I have little patience for the political views of people who abstain from voting, even when they agree with mine.

I'm eligible. You can vote once you've completed all of your sentence (jail time, parole, etc. ). I have been eligible for a while now just never thought to vote.

It might not stay that way. Texas has been reliably red for a long time, if the state becomes a toss up, disenfranchising voters is one way for Republicans to keep a grip on power. I encourage everyone to support the prison strike.

Prison strike demands:

  1. Immediate improvements to the conditions of prisons and prison policies that recognize the humanity of imprisoned men and women.
  2. An immediate end to prison slavery. All persons imprisoned in any place of detention under United States jurisdiction must be paid the prevailing wage in their state or territory for their labor.
  3. The Prison Litigation Reform Act must be rescinded, allowing imprisoned humans a proper channel to address grievances and violations of their rights.
  4. The Truth in Sentencing Act and the Sentencing Reform Act must be rescinded so that imprisoned humans have a possibility of rehabilitation and parole. No human shall be sentenced to Death by Incarceration or serve any sentence without the possibility of parole.
  5. An immediate end to the racial overcharging, over-sentencing, and parole denials of Black and brown humans. Black humans shall no longer be denied parole because the victim of the crime was white, which is a particular problem in southern states.
  6. An immediate end to racist gang enhancement laws targeting Black and brown humans.
  7. No imprisoned human shall be denied access to rehabilitation programs at their place of detention because of their label as a violent offender.
  8. State prisons must be funded specifically to offer more rehabilitation services.
  9. Pell grants must be reinstated in all US states and territories.
  10. The voting rights of all confined citizens serving prison sentences, pretrial detainees, and so-called “ex-felons” must be counted. Representation is demanded. All voices count.

Have you registered, though? You still have to register.

Good for you. Texas is perfect for massive solar energy farms and all the employment that would bring if the fossils who grip the reigns of power can be put in the hands of liberals.

At least he doesn't dream of grenading babies in tunnels like you do, taj, you baby-murdering asshole.
You're the one that constantly and continually supports the murdering of babies. Not me, never have and I never will. You're more than welcome to post a link to where i've ever mentioned harming a child though. You can't because it doesn't exist. You're just another typical leftist liar that abounds in this forum.

Keeping that throwing arm in good shape I hope.
