vote: Will Object-Oriented Database take off or die?

There doesn't seem to be many people using Object-Oriented Databases. Alot of time, this topic don't even get touched in database classes. Since most languages now are Oboject-Oriented, will Object-Oriented Database grow in popularity or remain stagnant?

no but i do work at IBM on their RDBMS (DB2 for Z/OS, thats mainframe version) so i should hope that relational databases continue to be king
 
I have to say IBM's Data Warehouse solution is pretty impressive, with support on almost every platforms.
I think only Teradata and Oracle can compete with IBM in that area.
