Take a look at this newegg comparison, and vote for your favorite. Keep in mind that money is a big issue here:

I've selected Asus cards because the mobo is Asus (techtour baby :thumbsup: ) and it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to have them branded the same.

I'm leaning toward the 6600GT because I :heart: nvidia, however I really really wanted 256MB.

256mb really isn't going to get you much in videocards at this price level.

6600GT. I just bought one last week and it's fantastic. XFX 6600GT, its already over a year old and its pushing D3 faster than the new X800. Great price, great card.
