Even if he returns, no doubt next season will be his last. Joe Dumars is known to be hard on lame duck coaches.

they named a coach for cavs. he is speculated to be VP of bball operations for cavs
which means in 2006-7 season they will fire the coach and get LB to coach LBJ

If LB doesn't get his health issues taken care of, he ain't coaching for anyone next year.

haha, you wish. Most people in Detroit (and hopefully the players) are sick of this drama and want it to end. They won't fall apart.

Yea, but it's not like he'd announce to the world at that particular time that he's dying or anything. That wouldn't be the correct time to say anything like that. Don't get me wrong, I hope the guy is ok, he's a good guy and a great coach. :)

I'm still tending to my bloody knucles after punching the walls in Wild Woody's in Royal Oak.

bah.

I think LB's a great guy but I personally think the team needs some rather dramatic changes to make it anything more than mild success story...legacies aren't made out of teams of our consistencies, I'm sorry. I'll cheer just as much as the next guy, but within reason.

I'm still teary eyed over the George Lucas AFI tribute, damn...now THERE'S greatness. :p

It sounds like you're still pounding them down at woody's. :p

(i have no idea what the hail you just said. ;))

I've gained respect for lb. Watching his pistons play and seeing how strong mentally they are, he's proven there's a darn good method to his madness. He's finally got a team that wants as much out of themselves as he does them, so even tho they lost, it's gotta be a helluva rewarding time coaching those guys because they are all behind him 100%.
