We're about a year out from the Big Top. The circus parade is already in full swing and there are several key state races in a few weeks.

Vote for goo(D). Don't vote w(R)ong.

Live it. Spread it. Make it stick.

The belief in right and wrong, good and evil are concepts based on the empowerment of thought enabled by language. They are the depositions of positive and negative experiences that took place in childhood, the past crystallized and ingrained via repetition and sought or avoided by lusts and fears, associations long forgotten and or repressed.

Your experiences of what is good and what is evil, what is right and wrong, compared to the opinions of others on identical matters are argued about in a state of robotic reflexive or programmed sleep.

The thing called truth, the certainty that it exists arises from a different place and can finally reveal its hiding place on the ending of thought and the collapse of duality sometimes called enlightenment.

To awaken is to end the notion of prescriptions. In a room full of awake and sleeping people, only the awake know who is who.

In a room full of awake and sleeping people, the awake are horrified at what humanity truly is. The implications being, that America was never going to survive. Built on the hubris of self righteousness, we made ourselves victim to humanity's greatest sins. The fallout from this is... staggering. The outcome of which cannot be denied. All we can do is sit by and watch as men become cannibals once more.

I suppose when death of a nation is assured, it makes sense not to have a prescription. After all, what good is a bandage for a severed head? Might as well be a Hello Kitty sticker, for all the good it'll do us.

It is 1.000.000.000 times easier to tear down than to build. Maybe instead of fixating on doom you should do the hard part of the job and actually begin to fix it.

A few good men to do nothing.

Hello Kitty stickers are no good. You want a Hello Kitty bandaid. Those are magical. My daughter told me so when she was a toddler.

In all seriousness, tell people to vote. I made sure to have a vote sticker on my car near election. I'm not a Swifty, but Taylor Swift has asked her followers to vote.

I am also happy to say that PA governor Josh Shapiro has approved a motor voter law to Pennsylvania.

To get a driver's license or photo ID from the PA Department of Transportation, you need to show proof of identity, residency, age, and citizenship. Everything required for votor registration. Anyone renewing their ID or driver's license will automatically be registered to vote. PA becomes the 24th state with such laws.

There is no argument that anyone can make that automatic votor registration increases votor fraud. None. Zero. Zip. And yet if you google terms like "republicans against motor voter law" or "republicans try to repeal motor voter law", you'll come up with links to many republicans trying to repeal such laws in multiple states. Just another example of voter suppression by the GOP.

Fix?
I mean, I still vote, but I am not going to sit here and pretend that it matters.
Would you like to examine why you still do?

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear enough on why I see "doom" in the first place. You say doomer, I say it is simply human nature repeating itself.
A sizeable portion of the world actively supports or shrugs at Genocide in Europe. Today.

A rather large portion of our own nation is among them. Maybe we cannot blame them, given what they have in store for us here at home. Really, it was the 2020 election result. If Trump and MAGA could not convince our voters to shriek in terror, and reflexively vote them all out of power.... If MAGA takes the smallest of setbacks and proclaims elections are fake.... no more elections, no more Democracy... If proclaiming our Democracy is DEAD is the official party mantra of the Republicans... do you realize the implications? Absent the consent of the governed, we will drop the pretense of a civil society and resort to the use of force against one another. Jan 6th was but child's play compared to what they intend to do.

My local MAGA wanted Trump to preform a military coup to stay in power. They still want one. Politics in America is turning bloody violent.
Go ahead and pretend you can vote your way out of it, if that's what you need to sleep at night.

One could argue that the natural peak progress we've seen in regards to individual rights and freedoms in that past 500 years is indeed human nature expressing itself on a path that is not even close to home yet.

What we want to figure out is this, are we gonna go for the highest common denominator or the lowest. Cause I agree with you, going for the lowest is pure shit and looking into the abyss for too long *will* give you tunnel vision.

All Orcs must die. Tomorrow will be a good day. Personally I think we're gonna make it.

It's right under our noses and still some people refuse to acknowledge it.

They've laid out their plans for us to see in broad daylight. With all the comments about "not hurting the right people," and "putting Democrats on trains," and half the other vile shit I can't even remember anymore. And this week you have Trump and Rep Gossar advocating for executing General Miley. I am sure there are many in our law enforcement and military who probably agree, unfortunately.

And you have the perfect storm brewing with Biden's absolutely cratering approval numbers, cost of everything still high, Ukraine fatigue, etc.

And this time Trump has all the right people lined up for cabinet positions, or should I say, the strings pulling Trump will have the right people in place to make sure they have a vice grip on government on day 1. These are the same people who were gleefully pushing the idea of the military "seizing voting machines" and suspending the Constitution for an election do-over.

I would advice to get out there, join the anti-maga demos. Get involved beyond "just voting".
