I bought one of the original one of these years back and it's still going strong. Best fan I ever owned.

Now I'm looking for one on a pedestal that I can stand in a corner- only thing is, I can't seem to find it.

Anyone know of any national chains that carry it? So far I've looked in BJ's, Wal-Mart, BestBuy and Sears.
 
not sure if they got the pedestal one but amazon is selling 2 models free shipping 35 and 40 bucks
 
I think I may have seen a couple models at a home depot or sears, something like that. Of course, the internet is also bound to sell a few. 🙂

PS: I agree, they make great fans.
 
Unfortunately they are in high demand, especially the free-standing ones.

Vornado's site is down at the moment, but it's >$100 for the standing ones, and that's alot of money for a fan.

The better ones have variable speed and not the "3 speed" settings. That makes all the difference. I wouldn't buy one without it.
