VoodooII and Voodoo 3 under WinXP

[Confused]

i have a VoodooII which i have installed in Windows XP to play some of my older games

however, i cannot get it to work as good quality as it was in 2k, it just seems a lot slower the system spec hasn't changed since 2k, the spec is:

Abit KT7 - latest bios
AMD Athlon 1.0 @ 1.43GHz (110*13)
Creative GF2MX AGP
Creative 3D Blaster VoodooII 12MB
Seagate 40GB hdd
LG CDRW
Hansol Mazellan 15ax
C-Media 8738 4ch sound
Hauppauge WinTV PCi TV tuner card

other than OS being changed from 2k to XP there is no difference in ANY hardware



also, one of my mates has a Voodoo3 2000 PCI, which he cannot get to work properly under WinXP

what could we do to get these working properly?

the drivers at www.3dfx.com work, and also the ones at www.voodoofiles.com work fine.
