Where the heck is Voodooextreme.com? My withdrawal symptoms are getting really bad. The site says "early next week", which was posted last Friday. Anybody heard when these guys are going to get it up again? (Sweet Dick Willy humor...)

It has been this way for a couple of days now and no sign or news about what is going down. I think we may all have to face the music that VE may indeed be down for the count this time.

Why on earth would they be down for the count? That site was/is the best 3d news site and I can imagine that they get quite a few page hits a day.

Well, I for one would be greatly relieved if VE were to come back. It was one of my all-time favorites. It's hard to believe that a site that got so much traffic would go up in smoke. I am hoping that it is simply a matter of a DNS change or whatever.

On the other hand, stranger things have happened.

GameFan, VoodooExtremes former host pulled the plug on all their hosted sites. Most of them were moving, but most didn't expect it to happen so soon. VoodooExtreme was starting to move but as you can see they still haven't finished yet. Simply put GameFan screwed over alot of sites, not only by pulling the plug on them, but 90% of their sites have not been payed since June/July. A side note, VoodooExtreme won't be the only site this happens to. Alot of the hosting sites(ie: UGO, IGN, and Gamespy) are not doing so good when it comes to money. Gamefan wasn't the first host to pull out, won't be the last.

I have faith in Billy &amp; the crew. They might be doing a redesign since they are already down. It did say something about VoodooExtreme Version 2.0
