It's interesting. I'd like to call them and find out the story. I wonder how many they have in stock? Are these evaluation units? Did 3dfx actually produce a few cards before the closed up shop? Is someone new making these from leftover VSA-100 chips?

The price isn't too good either. It probably a fast card, but it would have to be faster than a GeForce 3 to justify the price.

Something interesting though. Maybe it's a type-O but both the 5500 and the 6000 say "733 Megatexels/sec". Wouldn't the 6000 be roughly twice as fast?

At least it says 128MB of SDRAM.

I seem to remember 3dfx specifically mentioning that they were eliminating VIVO in the 4500 5500, and 6000, due to lack of interest.

I have a retail Voodoo5 5500 in my box right now, and it has no TV out.
