Voodoo5 What are the LATEST and BEST drivers??

I just re-installed my V5 after using an NVIDIA card for the past few months. I haven't been able to find any drivers other than the 1.04. Are there any newer ones out there?

1.04 Wqhl or 1.04.01 betas are the last real 3dfx drivers out, but there are other drivers you can use, I am using the 1.04.01 betas myself

with DX8 on Win2K my 1.04 craps out on me in OpenGL. the 1.07 drivers can play, but corrupt the desktop. I'm back with the CD drivers, looking for something inbetween.
PS the 1.07 an unofficial update, about 2Mb

Try the V5 6000 drivers here. They work great for me!

I like the Omega's 4th link from the top on HappyGamers post. I cant beleave Travis is actualy using the CD drivers but to each there own. Have you tried updating OpenGL? Oh and Travis the Omega's are a blend of the 1.04/1.07 and I think a touch of 6000 driver sets so they may be the inbetween you are looking for. As for the 6000's themselves I didnt like the way my monitor reacted to them.

ya, the original drivers are noticeably slower but I haven't been doing any gaming recently.

there are also the Iceman drivers you can get at the second site I listed, I never tried them. for me the 1.04.01 betas work good no problems and fast enough, stable. I may try other drivers if i have problems down the road
I hear but unsure if it's true that Tribes 2 is touchy with drivers and driver settings. I also have heard but unsure if it's true that wicked Gl will have a new driver version soon and that it will include better tribes2 drivers,???????

voodoosource.net, Beta 8 6000 drivers whip ass. Compatible in every game, HSR enabled by default. Install DirectX 8 first, then follow the tweaking guide there for 3dfx tools.
