The SDR PCI has TV?

Both cards are good in my opinion but I would like the support in the future so I would pick the ATI.

is the voodoo5 really that much faster then the radeon ..... i know the pci version will be slower for sure but if its like 10-15% slower then the voodoo5 then i can live with that but if its even slower then i think i would go voodoo5

Considering that it is an SDR, it may perform slightly under the v5.

If it floats your boat, I get the v5. You might also would want to consider the Geforce2 MX PCI cards that are out there.

I think Thresh's Firing Squad did a comparison of the Voodoo4-PCI and the GF2MX-PCI and the Voodoo4 won easily; to bad those guys couldn't get AGP right(Nvidia's AGP cards are MUCH faster than Voodoos). If you buy the Radeon, please post a review, because I'm also looking to upgrade a Celeron400/810, and I can't find any Voodoo cards left around here-there's one one pricewatch, but the reviews on resellerratings are awfull.

The radeon takes a big performance hit in PCI vs. AGP, while the V5 PCI is barely any slower than the AGP V5. Not to mention the V5 is already a better card then the SDR Radeon, and has the better FSAA also.

Unless you really need the TV-Out on the Radeon SDR PCI I would take the V5 for sure. The V5 won't have much in the way of driver updates and certainly nothing from 3dfx but it's current drivers are pretty solid.
