Voodoo5 Overclocking

i need to overlclock my Voodoo5 5500 AGP because it is the bottleneck in my system. i have a 1.2ghz 266mhz ddr system. for those of you who are experienced with the v5 and overclocking it, how far can you go on STOCK cooling without getting those black dots on your screen from overheating? i had the voodoo3 3500 and with 2 extra fans i could reach 215mhz! of course the 3500 was at 183mhz default compared to 166mhz of the voodoo5. if i add extra fans how far can i go? take a look at my rig.

Thanks everyone!!

go easy, they don't make cards like that anymore.
there were two memory chip manufacturers for that card, mainly the OCs are limited by the memory. out of Hyundai and Samsung, the Samsung? was supposed to be better.
anyway, default clock is 166, someone here runs at 192.

i have the hyundai ram. i heard that there was 3, hyundai, samsung, and toshiba. toshiba was the best follwede by hyundai. what do you mean they don't make cards like this anymore. they are only $108 of pricewatch.com. i overclocked it ti 175mhz on stock cooling and i have a huge performance increase and it still runs quite cool.

There are still cards available to buy, but they are not made anymore. I believe Travis was trying to say that they are gonna be hard to find soon and people have burned them out by overclocking.

and it still runs quite cool

You might have a "golden board" then, I played around with a V5 and it was HOT at default voltage.
