Ok, got another question for you all. I have a friend who has a PII 300 and wants a new a new video card, he is a big Q2 fan, (doesn't like Q3 that much) and I was just wondering how fast a game like quake2 would run on a v5 5500 at like 1024x768x32 with FSAA 4x enabled, if anyone has benchmarked q2 with these settings I am just curious how fast it would be, and if it is playable. Thanks.

Quake2 doesnt' run in 32-bit color. It's a 16-bit game

and the 4xFSAA @ 1024x768 is pretty okay, but not on a 300, heh....

i've been running counterstrike at 4x fsaa at 800x600 and it seems to run at 70 fps or more at 16bit color. I benchmarked q3a high detail at 1024x768x32 full textures and full geometric detail and got like 18fps, so i guess its somewhere around 35fps at 1024 on q2 on the p2-300 since a p2-300 has enough horsepower to render it at 35fps, and the voodoo5 has enogh fill rate to do that at 4xfsaa.
