I like to use 3D Mark 99 to benchmark my Video card and cpu whenever I upgrade something on my system. I recently got some new Kingmax PC150 ram and decided to try out all the different drivers for my Voodoo5. Starnge thing happened. The drivers that CAME with the card on the CD gave me the best scores. I tried the CD drivers, the new 1.03 drivers and the leaked VIA drivers, and reformatted my hard drive after each test to ensure I had a clean install. Why in the H**L do I get better scores on the OLDEST drivers. I had all the settings the SAME on each set of drivers. Im very puzzeled.
I also would like to know how to get my Voodoo5 to SHOW as a "voodoo5" in "Device Manager" instead of "3dfxvoodooseries"
