I've heard alot of bad and good things about the GeForce 3 Ti-200. Is it worth it for me on my 876MHz Celeron to upgrade to it from my Voodoo5-5500 AGP?

Thank you.

How are you running the Celeron at 876? If the FSB is under 100mhz I recommend you upgrade the CPU first. As for the video cards, the 3 TI 200 is much much faster than a Voodoo 5500 and its a great deal too. Sell your V5 on ebay for like $70 before it loses too much of its value.

The upgrade is worth it in terms of purely a performance standpoint. However I agree with the previous post in that you should upgrade your CPU first.

I am thinking about upgrading from my v5 also. I also have a radeon 32 mb ddr reatail card. only thing is every game that I really play every often and care about at this time works just fine now. sure I would gain some speed and/or graphics quality with a geforce3 but I am wonder if it's really worth the money. next week the lady freind will have a new p4 1.8g geforce3 ti 200 pc for me to play with so I will find out then. sucks that she will have a better pc than me...........but at least I get to spend some time on it when I want to compare.

I guess it comes down to the games you play, the game settings and the pc it's in.:)
