Key here is that the AGP card is not in stock.......CSR said probably till Janurary......

Just got off the phone with Buy.com's CSR-looks like early January at best. The next shipment they expect is maybe Dec. 26th at Penn.

I also confirmed staples & onvia are out as well.

Anything else roughly equivalent at buy.com? I'm thinking of the Radeon 32 MB DDR, but I've have so many bad experiences with ATI's drivers in the past I don't want to risk it again.

Staples still shows good for me...... I should have pulled the trigger on this deal last week when I had the chance.

I have a feeling that 3dfx is going to issue a rebate soon....it's making me hesitant to buy one right now.

If you can wait it is a pretty good deal at Buy.com and you should still get free shipping when it finally does ship is you buy now....

3dfx needs to get off their A$$ and have these cards available for the holiday buying spree...

1) they should have prepared better for the holiday rush... especially with their public announcement of the price drop..

2)its good if you are not in a rush... get locked in for a great price now and have a chance to cancel if something better comes along PLUS maybe hook up with a rebate by the time it goes thru...

Plus also, nice with buy.com you dont get charged on your credit until it actually ships!!!
