Sorry to hear you haven't resolved your problem. If I remember correctly, my V3 3000 and old 17" monitor combo didn't go as high as my present 19" and V3 3000. Just installed a new GF2 Pro AGP and the highest listed resolution dropped to 1600 x 1200.
