Anyone know of a conflict between the 3dfx Voodoo3 and the ECS K7S5A (onboard sound/LAN) mobo? I am running win98 se and cannot get it to soft power-down the mobo using 3dfx's voodoo3 driver (v1.07). When I change the display adapter's driver to standard VGA, the mobo shuts down just fine (as it should) by itself. Anyone know what is going on? Thanks...

Since drivers seem to make all the difference, why not try some of the third party drivers here. The Omega drivers made my Voodoo5 faster and more stable. You can always change it back.

There are issues with the K7S5A and everything. checkout this forum board: k7s5a forum
there people suggest a lot of things, but one that may apply concern which version AGP drivers you're using, especially if it's 1.09 (not voodoo driver, AGP system driver). check it out,
