Voodoo3 3K + K62-550 = slow

Just replaced a RivaTNT with a Voodoo3 3000 thinking TFC would run faster but it's not.

I'm using Omegas latest v3k drivers.

Can anyone help me out?

K6-2's are infamous for their terrible FPU performance. Even a PPGA Celeron would be a significant upgrade in gaming performance vs the K6-2 you have now.

Since you already have the K6-2, you might look at replacing the K6-2 with a K6-2+. THe on-die cache really makes a difference, & the OC pretty well to boot.

u try the wickedgl drivers? and as viper said... k6-2's ain't so hot for FPU performance. u can try to sell the setup and get this

But my issue is that this Voodoo3 3000 is preforming slower than the TNT in a k62 550.

Can anyone who has experience with this help me?
