I recently installed the latest drivers (1.07.00) and now some games that use 3d acceleration don't work (Quake3, Half-Life, Deus Ex). Does anyone have any suggestions??

What you may want to do is this:

uninstall the card and any files associated with it.

then go to display, and change your adapter to "standard display adapter".

now go to device manager, click on vid card and update drivers.
point it to the 1.07.00 drivers.

and everything should be fine.
thats exactly how i did mine and have had no probs.

if your still having probs with certain games, check out this site.

Hope some of this helps out.

Good luck.

Iluvatar-
do mpeg/avi movies take a really, really really long time to load? I have a v3 3000 and have the same problem with the 3d games, and also the movies take about 2 minutes to load, even though I am using the latest v3 drivers and have a 1ghz machine.

BarnyardMonkey-
Your solution worked perfectly. Thanks.

AG73-
Nope, I've never had any problems with MPEG/AVI movies loading slowly.
