voodoo2 kills display properties? Help!

Hey guys,
I just built my new system with these components:
AMD Duron 700 w/ Abit KT7 MB, 128MB PC100 RAM, 30GIG Quantum HD, ATI AIW 128 32MB AGP, Creative Voodoo2, Linksys 10/100 NIC, Zoom PCI Faxmodem, SB Live Value, Pioneer 6x DVD, and Plextor 12x10x32.
All of these parts except the CPU & MB came from my prior system (AMD K6-2 400 & MSI 5169 MB) and worked fine.
My problem now is under Windows 98SE after installing the drivers for my Voodoo2 card I cannot access display properties nor does DirectX recognize the Voodoo2 card. After installing the driver I can see the Voodoo2 under the System Properties.
Anyone else have an idea on what could be causing this?

Thanks

Thanks Rick,
I did try that and it does allow me to get into my display properties. However, still can't get my Voodoo2 card to show up under display properties or have DirectX recognize it. I have used both vendor (Creative) and reference drivers.

Check the card in another system. This could be the result of a hardware level problem. If it doesn't show up in the other system as well, that would be what the problem is.

Well,
The card just came out of my old system and was working perfectly. In my other research seems as though this is an issue with the KT7 motherboards as I have found others with the same issue.
