Voodoo Question

I have a voodoo3 with tv-out and I tried the tv-out on my big screen but the picture just has a lot of lines through it. I can't get full screen at all. I get like a box with the tv screen. I hear that people get full screen from tv-out from their big screen. Is it the card? If it is, what is the best card for tv-out on a big screen (55')?
