It will fit. The AGP Pro slot will take AGP Pro or normal AGP.

There is no reason it would not, It is a universal AGP Pro slot.

Hello, there. What Monarch Computers is talking about is the fact that the Voodoo5 series cards are EXTREMELY long and the fact that they cover up the ATA100 controller ports on the motherboard. They fit with no problem into the AGP slot itselft. I have talked with several people in various forums about this and they have had luck and success by shaving off some of the Voodoo5's PCB, which in turn allows the IDE cables to run under and out from the card. Other's are too worried about re-shaping the card, and I don't blame them, personally. If you have the guts to do it, then go ahead. Good luck to you.

Damn its THAT long? LMAO thats huge. Thats some 9" long. I didn't think it would be so big it would cover the IDE slots, that thought didnt come to my mind.

Yup. I read it on one of my daily tech sites I visit too. Can't remember which one because I have so many sites I go to. Do you know what you're gonna do with it? I believe on the Asus A7V133, both sets of IDE ports are ATA100, so you could have 8 ATA100 devices. I have an Asus A7V, where only one set of the two are ATA100, maxing out with 4 ATA100 devices and no RAID support. If you are going to use all of the IDE connector ports, then you have a choice to make. If you're making a simple setup, using only maybe 3 devices max (CDROM, HDD, CDRW, etc..), then you don't have to worry.

I see. Thanks for the heads up on that. I'll be running all SCSI so the RAID connectors dont matter to me. Thanks again for the good info. :)
