ok i just got the voodoo5 pci ( I had to caz of my crappy 810mb) but its a good if not an amazing card.... i have a p3-800 and 128mb ram on windowsME the fps in quake3 are good to around 70 at 1240X768X32..... ok here is my question knowing that 3dfx is dead do you think EA sports will be supporting the voodoo line in futer games....??? and how many years do i have with this card....?>??>./
 
EA Sports? Well, since their games are Direct3D, I don't see how the Voodoo 5 won't be supported.

As for how many years, depends on your definition. Some people upgrade every 3 months, some people still have their Voodoo 2s. I say you can probably play comfortably for maybe a year, a year and a half more? No one really knows...=)
 
cool.... but i really just want the ability form say 2 years from now to play nhl2003 at 800x600 and be in good shape.....
