Many sights are starting to say "I'll believe it when I see it.". It was supposed to come out last June. If you're looking for something insanely fast try a Geforce GTS Ultra board! Sorry I don't have anything concrete for you.

Its a year late now. Exactly a year late not just six months.

The VSA series was supposed to come out the same time as the GeForce line of cards did.

no.. the VSA series cards were first supposed to come out a year ago, but were delayed about 6 months. the Voodoo 5 6000 wasn't meant to be released WITH the other cards. they purposely didn't release it with them (there really weren't any bugs to work out from what I can tell, becuase they've been demoing it at computer shows for a while, all working fine!)

Well they had production problems with the VSA-100, and didn't get the yields they wanted, and probably wouldn't have been able to put out as many V5-5500's if they has aslo released the 6000. Now, they are probably weighing the whether is would be worth releasing the board, since their Ramage board is right around the corner...

But it does suck though... Penny stock anyone... anyone... $4.25 at close...

What they really need to do is release the board at a cheap price.

Other wise nobody is going to buy it knowing the next stuff is only 4-5 months away.

We might as well wait until comdex or just wait till after thanksgiving, cause i know personally that there aint nothing wrong with the card besides the fact that it will be over shadowed by GF2U and supposely the ATi Radeon 2. Gary could of at least hinted us about this in the interview.
