What are your best Voodoo 5 5500 Overclocks, and what cooling did you use?

I also have a question, If I rip off the stock heatsinks and just put on another heatsink fan on it with artic silver between the heatsink and the adhesive, will it sill cool properly or would I actually have to remove the adhesive, Trying to avoid it? Or is there a very easy way to remove the adhesive?

Could you post pics of the cooling or links to such pics?

Artic silver epoxy should have a dissolvant.

OMG ! ,, remove the old thermal pads !!!
(use 97% isopropyl alcohol,,, drug store stuff)

,,, then apply AS

I used 2 Blue Orbs on mine. (lapped)

I'll try to find my old OC speeds.

I dunno, isn't overclocking a V5 5500 like souping up a Civic? Yes, it will make it faster, but it will still be just a Voodoo5!

So VooDoo is rice???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
V3-2000 cards were very nice overclockers. They easily did 180-185MHz instead of 143.
Does your card have 5ns memory?
