I have a voodoo 5 5500 and I just upgraded to Windows XP Pro. But I am having issues with the video when playing Quake III or UT, such as freezing and lag. I do have the Glide DLL installed, but things just don't seem right. I UPGRADED from W2K Pro. Any suggestions on how I can resolve this? Andf no I can not go get a new card because Money is really tight right now.

You running the default xp drivers for voodoo5, or did you get some from the net? I've got a good set for xp that I found.. worked like a charm, til I just got tired of win xp. :)

Yea, what drivers are you running? I am running W2K drivers(there was some special way to install them to make them work right, I forget how, search the forums its in here somewhere), and it works fine for me.

Ok I found what appears to be the V % drivers, but they won't install. Can anyone give me a link to a valid set of drivers they got to work?

The V5 will NOT run stable under WinXP. The "V5 WinXP" drivers that are out at the moment use a hacked version of Win2K Glide. The parts of the drivers that don't work under WinXP are NOT fixed, they are simply skipped. That's why some games will not run and others will crash when playing or exiting the game. Plus you can't run anything (Glide/OpenGL/D3D) windowed either.
