I bought my v4 in december and saw an update on windows update. After finding v4 drivers went back to windows update and option was gone. I checked windows update over the weekend to see if they had sp2 up and saw a driver for v5 under the drivers section.

my question is should I install it or keep the latest 3dfx drivers?
 
Ignore the Windows update for the Voodoo series driver.

I think it might check for the last retail approved driver and even if you are using a later driver it will prompt you for the update.
