VooDoo 4 4500AGP Problem.

I got it two days ago but it's having some kind of problems. My monitor has all these weird lines/shaking after I wake my monitor from standby mode. I can also hear some high frequency coming from my PC case at the same time. What can be wrong?

ViewSonic E771 @ 1024*768*32 (75Hz refresh rate).

Try different resolutions and/or refresh rates.

Fresh format and reinstall if you are desperate and if all else fails return it and get another.

Problem now solved! I returned the card and exchanged it with a Hercules 3D Prophet II MX instead........Much much better now........

I can't, for the life of me, figure out what 3Dfx hoped to gain by releasing the 4500.
