Voodoo 3 driver/memory setting cause random restart?

I have recently upgraded to Win XP, p4 CPU, FIC VC11 motherboard and Geforce 3 Ti200. I use Geforce 3 Ti 200 to replace the Voodoo 3 3500 I bought 3 years ago. I started to have random restart problem after the upgrade. I disabled the automatically restart option, but it still restarts without warning or BSOD. I checked the Event viewer's system log. 90% of the red stop error was caused by "The 3dfxTV WDM service failed to start due to the following error: the file cannot find the file specified." I uninstalled the voodoo 3 driver as soon as I put in the Geforce card and installed its newest driver, however it seems like its still searching for the device in the system log. I did a search for any remaining files of "3dfx", I found two files "3dfxvs.dll and 3dfxvsm" in the window\driver cache\i386\driver.cab directory which I couldn't delete. Is there anyway to fix the error, or letting the registry know to stop searching for the 3dfx devices?

I also heard it might be caused by the memory setting of the computer, I am currently using one PC-133 512 ram memory, how do I check/reconfigure the memory setting with WinXP? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
