Voodoo 3 3000 vs. ATI All in wonder 128 16 MB

Can someone tell me the drop off in video quality (I guess for games and stuff, since everything else would be close enough, right?) between a Voodoo 3 3000 and an ATI All In Wonder 128 16?

I'd like to have TV capabilities, but I'd also like graphics for gaming as good as, if not better than, those of Voodoo 3 3000 (my current card).

Maybe I should get All In Wonder 128 32? Please help me out, let me know what my best option would be (even if it's something different) Thanks

In terms of 2d quality, 3dfx and ATI are both very good. A V3 3000 will have much better 3d performance than the rage based AIW, the AIW Radeon will outperform the v3 though.

32 bit image quality on the AIW Rage 128 is (or should be) very good. Speed, probably around a TNT 2 regular.

Maybe you should consider the Voodoo3 3500? It has the Voodoo3 speed that you want plus the TV tuner.

Of course, always go with ATI AIW Radeon if you got the money! 😀

Okay, here's the question I guess. Would it be better to get the ATI AIW Radeon 32? Or a GeForce2 of some kind, and then add an ATI tuner? Which would be better quality, and what would the price difference be?

In case you havn't noticed, I'm not a big ATI fan, but a GeForce and a ATI TV Wonder, on the same computer? I think that's the formula for some type of biological weapon. Get the AIW.

I guess if you say a V3 takes an AIW Rage 128, then maybe I should go with a final option: keep the V3 since it works, and just get a new TV card?
